NEWS: Keyside share ‘If You Don’t Try’ video

Liverpool four-piece, Keyside, have been turning heads with their festival-ready, buzz-worthy anthems and breezy brand of guitar-driven indie. While previous singles touched on darker themes, matching the desolation of drug-abuse with glacial riffs, their latest track ‘If You Don’t Try‘ is a joyful aspirational ‘pep talk’. Now, as their chiming, kitchen sink indie lands on more and bigger stages, they have announced their biggest nationwide tour to date facing sell out nights at Liverpool, London, Glasgow and Manchester shows later this year.

If You Don’t Try’ -out now via Modern Sky-brings unbound optimism to Keyside’s world. As lead singer Dan Parker said, “If You Don’t Try” is about embracing uncertainty, taking chances and living life. It blends historical metaphor, personal emotion and modern imagery to say: “F**k it! Let’s give it a go, see what happens if we try.” This track is a jangling slice of indie gold. With buoyant hooks and lush reflective vocals, driving bass and glorious anthemic choruses, this cinematic track was made to be echoed by the masses and cements them as one of the most promising bands on the scene right now.

Following a time-worn path from bigger gig to even bigger gig, traversing major support slots with the likes of The Royston Club and The Wombats, Keyside’s upcoming tour, including a 1,200-capacity local love-in at Liverpool’s O2 Academy, is confirmed to cover the following venues and dates:
