The Hair - Blood
Owain Paciuszko 02/06/2008
Plying a trade in pretty standard 'all-guns-a-blazing' indie-rock York/Leeds four-piece The Hair craft, on the 'strength' of this debut single, M.O.R. pop with typical sing-a-long choruses and a liberal sprinkling of synth to remind you that they're a current band and that's the done thing. They're the usual kind of mid-year band that ends up with a good slew of festival appearances, perhaps a moderately successful album in the Autumn, and then the inevitable 'dissapointing' follow-up the next year. The three tracks here go through the motions with such routine that they quickly blur into each other.
