The All New Adventures of Us - St Crispin’s Got Our Backs

Rating: 4/5

'The All New Adventures of Us' debut single “St Crispin's Got Our Backs” is an intriguing soundscape, of delicate electronics and elevating indie-pop riffs. The Northamptonshire 7-piece have created a track of gentle, timelessness which stands out from the crowd, in terms of 'new music' which has, let's be honest, flooded the market of late.

Plucked from obscurity, “St Crispin's Got Out Backs” made the 5 Hottest Tracks in the World Right Now on Steve Lamacq's “In New Music We Trust.” This may be a little over the top, this band aren't quite the cream of the indie-crop. However, far worse music springs to mind.

With a gift for genuineness, the song writing on show in just these two tracks, is exemplary of the quality coming out of the British indie-pop scene. 'The All New Adventures of Us' are an endearing and invigorating ensemble of musicians and songwriters that speak volumes for what Brit-indie-pop really has to offer.
