The Enemy - 40 Days and 40 Nights
Mike Caulfield 06/11/2006
Hey y'all the bandwagon just rolled into town and deposited us a brand new band to pigeon hole. Only it's actually not that hard because they're not a million miles from, drum roll please, the Arctic Monkeys. It's a riotous affair of womanising, running out of condoms and late night trips to the petrol station with just the right amount of angular guitars to keep the scensters happy. Whilst it might not have the most original sound: the almost metronome rhythm will probably make it a hit with the Indie clubs, with enough energy to keep it from getting dull. Only question being can The Enemy do enough to warrant their place in a market that's already feeling a little over-crowded?
